Agro-Top A/S has initiated a natural generational change in the company from 2021. It is the two sons of owner Kristen Svendsen, Mark and Mads Dahlgaard Svendsen, who will take over the daily management for a number of years, and tasks with a focus on continuing to be the most installed tank cover in Denmark. The transfer takes place as the two sons are gradually involved in several central decisions and given increased responsibility in both strategy, customer contact and personnel management. The goal is to ensure continuity, quality and further development of the company’s core competencies.
Agro-Top A/S was founded in 2006 by current owner Kristen Svendsen. Agro-Top A/S offers both single and total solutions for the installation of slurry tanks, front tanks and tank covers for agriculture and industry. Over the years, the company has been responsible for installing over 2500 tank covers in Denmark alone. This helps define Agro-Top A/S as the market leader and the most widely used installer of tank covers in Denmark. In addition, Agro-Top A/S has also performed a large number of international assembly tasks in e.g. Canada, Russia, Latvia, Sweden and Norway.
Twice, in 2014 and 2019, Agro-Top A/S has been named a gazelle company.
Kristen’s two sons Mark and Mads graduated from EUX Viborg and Herningsholm Erhvervsskole respectively. Mads has been an installer at Agro-Top A/S since 2014, and Mark has just joined the company permanently as of January 2021.
Mark and Mads have been an important part of the upcoming generational change for a long time, and Kristen Svendsen looks forward to a smooth takeover, where he can still follow his life’s work closely. Both sons share their father’s passion for quality craftsmanship and innovation, and they have a common desire to continue Agro-Top A/S with respect for the company’s values and strong reputation in the industry.
